The Gamer
Staying up real late and sleeping
all day
The boy thought of nothing except his
play.
Slaying dragons and beasts was his
calling,
He fought hordes of fiends, all
were appalling.
Taking one mighty sweep his sword
would show
No one could beat him with magic
or bow.
Leveling up to wear the best armor
He fought in dungeons to win
king’s honor.
From his neck hung an amulet of
strength,
In many battles it helped him at
length.
The boy would be told “Go take out
the trash!”
But he heard nothing except hack
and slash.
“You best do your chores here in a
moment!”
“But dad I must destroy this
opponent!”
He played online, invited many
friends,
They all said “Yes!” to the
requests he sends.
Together they would fight monsters
galore
With body parts flying, there was
much gore.
The boy started the game killing
small bores,
In
the end he would achieve all high-scores.
